Give the Gift of an Education - Any Time of Year!

Give the gift of an education!  Instead of buying birthday and other gifts for friends and family members who really do not want or need any more "things," put that money towards sponsoring a child and changing his or her life.  This is what I personally have chosen to do this year and it has given me a sense of peace that will carry me through this coming year.  My family is thrilled with my decision.  It feels so good to know that my money is going to benefit others. 

I also like knowing that at Ekoankar, almost 90% of the funds received from sponsors go directly to the child's education expenses.  Our research has shown that this is higher than most other similar organizations.  I plan to send my friends and family a thank you card with the child's name and information and thank them for giving this child the opportunity of a primary education. 

I hope you will consider giving the gift of an education and saving a child from the cycle of extreme poverty.
